This rare find is a 60 x 40 inch tin Coca-Coal sign painted by R.A. Miller with his iconic characters from his religious figures to his prehistoric creatures. Signed, not dated.
“I never thought much about being an artist. I just did it.” says Miller. As a self-taught folk artist he is best known for his whirligigs and metal cutouts. In the 80s R.E.M. took R.A. into mainstream when they filmed a music video on his property filled with his whirligigs.
